How I got into Sonic Games

My first introduction to sonic was early in my life, I was only about 5 years old when my Dad bought his first games console, this was the Sony Megadrive. The game he got with this was Sonic 1, the classic sonic game which everyone recognises out of all of the sonic games.

He used to spend hours trying to complete the game but would always be caught out. When I was old enough I began to use the console aswel and got rather good at the sonic 1. I may not have completed the first game before my dad but I can now complete the whole first game in under an hour with all of the chaos emiralds!

To me the most annoying part of the first sonic game is deffinatly the underwater level, in this level you are requried to hold your breath when you go under water and look for air bubbles, if you do not find air bubbles within a short amount of time then sonic will drown and you must go back to one of the checkpoints. There are also many spikey objects within the underwater level so you must ensure to keep getting rings for sonic as to avoid loosing more sonic lives.

By far my favourite level from sonic one is starlight zone, in this zone sonic can run around loops and gather much speed, there are also many secret area of which sonic can find and gain more lives, conitnues and rings bonuses.
